Non-Dairy? No Problem! I’m breaking down some of my favorite non-dairy products.

Whether they are vegan, lactose intolerant, it causes breakouts, or they don’t like the taste, people choose not to eat dairy for different reasons. For a long time, eliminating dairy from a diet was difficult and there weren’t many alternatives. Nowadays, the market is flooded with non-dairy options, gluten free, vegan, you name it! One thing I’ve always found particularly hard is navigating through which ones actually taste good.

Fear not – I’ve been spending the last few months tasting and testing out a number of options, which I’m excited to share with you!   

Yogurt: Lavva

Favorite way to enjoy it: Topped with granola, fresh berries or banana, and a big ol’ scoop of peanut butter. If I’m feeling crazy I’ll drizzle on some honey for sweetness.

Milk: Califia Farms

Favorite way to enjoy it: Love it in my blueberry banana oatmeal. On the weekends, I like whipping up my own almond milk latte with maple and cinnamon – such a treat!

Cheeses: Kite Hill 

Favorite way to enjoy it: I’m a big fan of the chive flavor smeared on toast, topped with baby arugula, avocado, sea salt, crushed red pepper flakes and pepitas. I’ll sometimes add an egg on top for some extra protein. 

Chocolate: Hu Kitchen  

Favorite way to enjoy it: Straight up! My favorite flavor is currently their new Cashew Butter & Raspberry Jelly Dark Chocolate – it is SO GOOD – but all their flavors are bomb.
