HOW DO I RESERVE A CLASS?
In order to place a reservation, you must first buy classes. To buy a series, you can either sign up for a username and password and purchase a series online, or come into the studio.
The Studio @ Beacon accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and cash at the studio.
Your credit or debit will be charged in the amount of your order when you submit your reservation. Failure to pay any fee when due, may result in the suspension of your rights to use The Studio @ Beacon’s services. You shall be liable for any fees that The Studio @ Beacon may incur in the process of collecting any unpaid fees from you, including, but not limited to, attorneys fees.
Expiration dates and prices for single classes and class packages are subject to change.
I’M NEW, WHAT SHOULD I KNOW?
While we don’t offer beginner classes, all of our classes are great for people at any level, even those without any fitness experience. Please arrive early to your first class so our trainers can introduce you to the equipment and get you prepared for class. We welcome people of all shapes, sizes, and fitness level, and we’ll keep you at a pace that works for you.
If you’re taking a boxing class, Please bring your own gloves + wraps or be prepared to purchase them when you arrive.
DO YOU HAVE ANY AGE REQUIREMENTS?
You must be a minimum of 14 years old to take class here. Anyone under 18 needs permission from a legal guardian.
WHAT ARE THE STUDIO POLICIES?
IT’S ALL ABOUT TIMING: Please make your best efforts to be ON TIME to class. We recommend arriving a few minutes early to get yourself situated, especially if it’s your first class. Because of new Covid restrictions, the studio will not be open before class during the week, which means that you may not be able to enter early.
NO LATE ENTRIES: Once the class starts, you will not be allowed to enter the studio. This is both for your safety (it’s dark in there!) and the enjoyment and focus of other riders. Please do not leave early as it disrupts the experience for other riders when you leave.
SOLD-OUT CLASSES/WALK-INS: Open bikes will be given away to people who are wait listed, they will be sent an email and text notification. Please understand that if you are late and have a reservation, you will lose your spot.
Standby (WAITLIST): If the class you want to attend is sold-out, please put yourself on the waitlist! If there are cancellations, we will try our best to contact you to see if you would like the spot. Your best bet is to give us a call 10 minutes before the class starts. If you do not get in off the waitlist, your class credit will be returned to your account to be used at another time. There are no refunds issued.
NO CELLPHONES IN STUDIO – If you are expecting an important call, please leave your phone with the desk staff. They can come fetch you in case of an emergency.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
You can cancel your reservation via your account online.
In order to cancel a class at The Studio @ Beacon, you must cancel at least 5 hours before the scheduled class time. Once your bike is cancelled, the class will be returned to your package to be used at a future date.
A late cancellation or no-show will result in the loss of the class. Unless we cancel class due to unforeseen circumstances or inclement weather, your absence will be considered a late cancel.
For monthly unlimited riders: Three late cancels or no-shows will result in a $15 fee.
Please be aware that bikes will be released 5 minutes prior to class to wait-listed riders. If you are running late, please call the studio and your bike will be held.
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
All sales are final, no refunds for cash or credit will be provided after the purchase of a class, series or unlimited membership. If you choose not to continue your Studio @ Beacon series, you are not eligible for a refund. If you feel you will not be able to complete a package, you may want to choose one of the smaller packages.
Merchandise Returns – All merchandise sales are final. Refunds for merchandise will only be provided in the form of a store credit or exchange in the case of a fault. No refunds for cash.
ARE CLASS PACK EXPIRATION DATES FIRM?
Class and Series Expiration dates are final and may not be extended. All class and series expirations are listed at the time of your purchase.
CAN SOMEONE ELSE USE A CLASS FROM MY PACK?
Classes are non-transferable and can only be used by the member who purchased them.
WHERE CAN I KEEP MY STUFF?
We have lockers with built-in digital locks for your use during class. The Studio @ Beacon is not responsible for your personal property.
WHERE CAN I CHANGE?
We have two large restrooms for your convenience. We do not have a shower at this time, but it’s okay, we’re all sweaty together!
WHAT DO YOU PROVIDE?
- Clip-in cycling shoes for optimal performance on the bike.
- Boxing gloves to ensure each punch lands perfectly.
- Towels to wick away sweat.
- Handwraps designed for wrist support and hand protection. New clients will be required to purchase these reusable quick wraps for $5.
