Beacon Farmer’s Market: Sundays, 10-3

You can’t miss this little strip off Main Street near the Post Office. You’ll want to get a spot in line at PickleLicious for all of your olive and pickled veggie needs (we recommend the full sour pickles), and Hudson Valley Seafood for a fresh catch. There are lots of great treats and fresh, local produce to choose from.

Rhinebeck Farmer’s Market: Sundays, 10-2

Located centrally in the pastoral town of Rhinebeck, this farmer’s market has a selection of just about everything you could be looking for. Not only does it have an array of organic produce, but it is possible to stock your kitchen for the rest of the week with locally made cheeses, breads (including gluten free!) and alcohols. And if you find yourself needing a snack while perusing through the market, try a delicious taco or falafel made on site!

Besides the edible products, Rhinebeck also draws in artisans that create ideal gift items such as handmade soaps and cutting boards.

Pawling Farmer’s Market: Saturdays, 8-12

Although this market is a bit smaller, it is perfect for picking up a few ingredients for the week to come. The market runs the stretch of Main Street, and provides easily access to the various tents. With many of the farms local to Pawling, this is shopping local at its finest.

Arlington Farmer’s Market: Thursdays, 3-7

This farmer’s market is perfectly situated mid-week, and at the end of the work day. With enough produce variety to be able to find what you need, the highlight of this market is its ready-to-eat food. With options that are both vegan and varying in cultures, forget cooking that night! To top it all off, enjoy a delicious Whipped cupcake, or a frozen vegan dessert from New Confectioners.
