Guacamole is a staple on the table at every gathering and a must have on taco nights!

The main ingredient in every guacamole is, of course, avocados. Avocados are incredibly nutritious with 2 grams of protein and in a 100-gram serving, 7 grams of fiber.  They are loaded with heart-healthy monounsaturated fatty acids and they can even lower cholesterol.

When making guacamole, it’s essential to remember to not completely puree your avocados; it tastes better with larger chunks in the mixture. Also, it’s important to balance the salt, lime juice, and red onion accordingly, so no one flavor overpowers another. If you want to spice up your guacamole, you can throw in some jalapeños to bring your desired heat!

Creating a great, fresh guacamole is not hard at all and it requires little effort.
